Andrew Bostic
was born in Athens (Clarke County), Georgia. There he
graduated from Clarke Central High School in 1998. Andrew
continued his education at Georgia State University where he
received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. Andrew
recently received his Masters in Business Administration
from the University of Georgia.
Andrew
currently is employed as a Senior Information Technology Developer for Norfolk
Southern, located in Midtown Atlanta. In this position he
is responsible for developing business solutions by
developing robust web applications, project management and
completion, and serving in various leadership roles.
Norfolk Southern is a major Class I
railroad and Fortune 500 company with company headquarters
based in Norfolk, VA.
Andrew has served his communities and others
in many roles. His passion is giving back to the youth
through mentorship and tutoring. He has served in this
capacity since his early years in high school and continued
with community service programs at Georgia State
University whose main focus was education. Andrew’s service
to the community also included time helping the homeless
with Hosea Feed the Hungry and repairing and rebuilding
communities with various organizations including Hands on
Atlanta.
Andrew enjoys in his spare time staying active and healthy
by playing basketball, flag football, and skating. Andrew
is a self-proclaimed “chef” and loves to cook when time
permits. Andrew’s hobbies include reading, action movies,
and playing board games. |
